The film follows paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren as they face their most disturbing case yet. Jack and Janet Smurl, with their family, move into what seems like a dream home. But their dream soon turns into a nightmare as the house reveals signs of demonic infestation. This is not the type of haunted house that creaks and groans — this is possession, oppression, and pure evil unleashed.
What makes Last Rites so gripping is not just the terror on screen, but the deeper spiritual battle it points to.
