Snow White Christian Review

So, the live-action version of Snow White is coming, and honestly, I am really excited to see how it will present an old animated movie in a new way. You know, it’s a Disney classic, and now when it’s in live-action, there will be something quite different to see. I think this movie has a nice mix of fantasy, love, sacrifice, and the themes of good vs. evil—all of which reflect Christian values, but in slightly different ways.

First of all, the Queen’s obsession with her beauty is a classic case of vanity, friend. Her vanity is the main trigger of the whole story, and because of it she has lost her true beauty—which is actually related to our heart and soul. As the Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7, “The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” The Queen’s jealousy forces her to make bad decisions, and she starts ignoring her true beauty which is hidden in her inner qualities. Snow White’s character is a good example because with her pure heart and goodness she shows everyone what real beauty is. This is a good reminder that we should value our inner qualities more than our outer beauty.

Look at Snow White. The purity and kindness she exudes makes her look very Christ-like. Her resistance to evil sends a powerful message about how we can struggle in our lives while holding on to our faith and values. Just as Christ showed us how he sacrifices for us, Snow White also protects her values ​​and goodness in her journey, no matter what. It feels like a spiritual journey that shows us the light of hope and redemption even in the midst of dark moments. Very inspiring.

Now regarding the dwarfs, I feel their role may be a little underrated. Their relationship with Snow White, which is based on mutual love and care, is a great lesson. Now, one small thing which may seem a little complicated is the Queen’s dark magic and the element of poisoned apple. There is a little use of magic and occult symbolism which may make some people feel uncomfortable. But, I understand that all this is being shown in a fairy-tale context, where symbols of evil and temptation are shown, and not with the intention to promote them. Therefore, if we see it as a moral lesson, then there is not much problem.

So, overall, I think that this live-action version of Snow White can be a quite entertaining and meaningful movie. It uses its magical world and fantasy elements well, but also highlights Christian values ​​like redemption, love, and themes of good vs. evil. There may be some dark and magical elements that may leave some people a little skeptical, but I feel this movie has a very positive message—especially about love, sacrifice, and inner beauty.

If you are from a Christian family, then this movie is definitely worth watching. It reminds us that the real beauty lies within us, and how we can improve our lives through love and sacrifice.
