Jurassic World: Rebirth Christian Review
Jurassic World: Rebirth. Hearing the name old memories flash before us—dinos are running, people are screaming, and humans? As always, they get caught in the trap of taking control. But this time? The story is a little dark. Earlier, where dinosaurs were just a part of a theme park, now they have become a permanent feature of the world. Street, sky, sea—everywhere. And humans? They are doing the same thing even now—playing with DNA, creating new species, and dreaming of considering themselves mini-Gods.

The visuals are crazy, no doubt. But if you look carefully… a cold, uncomfortable warning is hidden behind every roar. When viewed through a Christian lens, a simple question arises—whenever humans try to control everything, the result is always destruction. Genesis 11:4 and Romans 1:22-23 come to mind when a scientist confidently says on the screen, “We’re saving the future,” and in the next scene some other genetically tweaked dino comes out. Dino-human traits? Like bro, seriously? The Bible clearly says—dominion does not mean domination (Genesis 1:28). We were created caretakers, not creators. But here every experiment has the same conclusion- man wanted control… and destroyed himself.
If we talk about characters then everyone is a little flawed. No one is a complete hero. Everyone is entangled in his own guilt, experiments, or selfish motives. On one side there are some eco-scientists who want to create a “better species” by tweaking DNA. And this raises a big question- is the value of a human being based only on his adaptability? If seen through the lens of faith then our worth is not derived from any lab result. Genesis 1:27—We are made in the image of God. This film definitely raises this question… but does not answer it. Everything is left in a grey fog.

Visuals? Straight-up jaw-dropper. The dinos look so real they could jump out of the screen. Jungle chases, tight close-ups—pure cinema madness. But on a spiritual level? The film feels quite heavy. Darkness everywhere. A world where humans have lost all control, and only desperation remains in place of hope. A “Do whatever it takes” survival mode is kicking in. Might be a little triggering for believers. Romans 15:13 comes to mind—true hope comes from Christ, not some last-minute rescue plan.
The PG-13 rating is perfect. Slightly violent deaths, loud action, high tension. There is no sexual content, but the intensity is high. If the kids are hardcore Dinos fans, parents should take it with caution. If the fear tolerance is low, this film can overwhelm you.
And in the end? Jurassic World: Rebirth is a thrilling rollercoaster ride, but also a spiritual wake-up call. The film asks—when we give up our control over everything by removing God, are we creating the future? Or are we silently writing our own destruction?
It is worth watching. But not just for popcorn-munching. Also for thinking. There may be chaos on the screen… but there is a voice going on in some corner of the heart- progress is just noise without any purpose. And sometimes the same noise… everything gets eaten up.
