Bull Run Christian Review

Bull‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Run (2025) is a messy, smooth, and scathingly funny comedy that goes for the financial jugular in the wilderness. It is a comedy that mocks Wall Street’s inhuman and unending desire for more. A young junior banker is the protagonist of the film whose idea it is to invent such a situation that if only the finance world is dangerous, the money is not the one he should be afraid of but the people who sign the deals. It is a satire concealed by the themes of greed and ego – and beneath the laughs, it is a very sober reflection of the human heart without God.

In brief, Bull Run deals with the concept of sin. The success that seductively promises itself, the risk that exhilarates, and the captivating belief that money equals value — all these sing the age-old lie of Eden:
“You will be like God.”
Instead of preaching, the film demonstrates this through the fall and irony. The sting of conviction is there in every joke.

Morally speaking, it is a medley of virtues and vices. The movie mocks avarice, but sometimes it appears to be indulging in it. The main character’s turning point more closely resembles disenchantment than conversion — a worldly kind of insight, not a spiritual one. The film doesn’t really talk about faith and spirituality, but it does imply that there is emptiness, and it seems intentional, like a mirror that shows what happens when life is built on profit instead of purpose.

Sometimes it is a bit rough in language and is not meant for kids or family, but it has a message that is worth hearing: success without righteousness is a ticking time bomb. At the end of the day, Bull Run is not a film about finance but the loss of the soul.
