Armand-This is such a movie that after watching it for the first time, some questions are left in your mind and a little confusion in your heart as well. You meet 6 year old Armand, who does some things with his best friend which may be inappropriate for him. Now this story is a bit heavy, but the most important thing in this is that it focuses on understanding the mistakes of children and the way to handle them.
If you are watching it from a Christian perspective, then this movie explains one thing very clearly: forgiveness. Just as Armand tries to understand his mistake, for us this is a reminder that sometimes we need to understand others without judging them right away. The film also shows how to help someone with empathy and grace, instead of just reacting. Like Christ, we too have an opportunity to understand and forgive others.
The essence of the film is this: every child can make mistakes, and it is important for us to understand their mistakes and give them a chance to learn. Will we guide them with our love and understanding? Will we show them their mistakes by ignoring them, or will we find a constructive way out of it? This film forces you to think about this.
Armand’s character has been shown very well. You can understand that a 6 year old child is trying his best to understand his mistake, but he may have complexes because of the pressures and limitations in school. But after watching this film, we get a small reflection on the struggles of our lives, and understand how we show a lot of maturity in understanding and forgiving others.
This film may be a little emotional, and if you have patience, you will learn a lot from it. But it is not for everyone, especially if you are very young. The subject of the film is matter sensitive, and not everyone can afford to watch it so intensely. But people who are mature and can understand such topics should definitely watch it.
